Our roots go back to the mid-1970s, when The Maple Press Company, a book manufacturing company based in York, PA, was asked by a client to help store and ship books. That request launched a new chapter.
Through the 1980s and 90s, we expanded steadily opening distribution centers to keep pace with growing demand. As digital printing transformed book publishing, we saw an opportunity to evolve. We took a hard look at what we did well: receiving, picking, packaging, and shipping. The product didn't have to be a book. Anything our team and equipment could safely handle was a good fit.
Maple Logistics Solutions was formally established in 2012 as a 3PL. Since then, we've handled everything from solar panels and mattresses to coffee pods, paint balls, and a whole lot in between.
